The Truth & Beauty Project's Ladies' Weekend is more than a getaway, pilgrimage, or retreat. It is an invitation to experience Rome through the beauty of the faith while sharing the journey with women who desire to live with greater joy and purpose.

Together we'll explore hidden corners of the Eternal City, encounter inspiring women of faith, celebrate the sacraments, enjoy wonderful Italian food, and build friendships that often last long after the weekend ends. Whether you come with friends or arrive on your own, you'll quickly discover a welcoming community where every woman is known, encouraged, and inspired.

 

You'll return home not only refreshed, but with a renewed appreciation for your own dignity, vocation, and the beauty of the life God is inviting you to live.

Your Weekend Journey

Friday, Sept 18 

Begin your weekend by meeting inspiring women from around the world as you discover the beautiful truth that, before God calls us to anything, He first calls us His beloved daughters. Through prayer, reflection, and authentic Roman hospitality, you'll begin a journey of seeing yourself through His eyes.

2:30 PM, Meet women from around the world.and together visit to the Private Rooms of St. Bridget of Sweden. 

Reflection: "The Jewelry of Heaven: How God Sees His Daughters." Drawing from Ezekiel 16, we will reflect on God's tender love for us. Before He adorns us with jewels, He first sees us, chooses us, and calls us beloved. Through the life of St. Bridget, we will explore how intimacy with Christ becomes the foundation of authentic feminine beauty.

4:00 PM, Walk around an entire country with a mission. We'll skirt the world's smallest country—the Vatican City State—where so many saints have walked before us as we take part in a special mission to cover the Vatican in prayer.

6.00 PM, Mass at St. Anne's Church (The Church of the Mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary). "Learning from the Grandmother of Jesus." St. Anne teaches the hidden power of spiritual motherhood, faithfulness, and generational holiness.

7:30 PM, Share dinner in a Roman home, Casa Noronha (included)​​​. "Stories of Beauty: Where God Has Adorned My Life"

Saturday, September 19

Spend the day walking in the footsteps of extraordinary women whose courage, fidelity, and holiness changed the Church. As their stories unfold across the Eternal City, you'll discover how God continues to call ordinary women to lives of extraordinary beauty and purpose.

10:00 AM, At Santa Maria della Vittoria - "Pearls of Great Price: Learning from St. Teresa of Avila"  St. Teresa teaches that true beauty is cultivated within. We will journey through the rooms of the Interior Castle, discovering how prayer transforms the soul and allows Christ to dwell more deeply within us.

Pilgrimage to the Tomb of Blessed Elizabeth Canori Mora​. "The Beauty of Faithful Love" The remarkable witness of a wife, mother, and mystic who remained faithful amid suffering and became a model of hope for marriage and family life.

Lunch at an Italian Market (on your own) 

The Original Icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. "Mary's Jewels: Trust, Surrender, and Perpetual Hope"  Exploring the history of the icon and the maternal mission of Mary, who continually leads her children to Christ and teaches them how to entrust every need to God.

Mass

Visit to St. Praxedes. "The Hidden Jewels of the Early Church." The witness of holy women who preserved the faith amid persecution and whose sacrifices continue to shine through the centuries.

Dinner (included) and reflection on St. Thérèse of Lisieux in Rome ​

Sunday, September 20

As your journey comes to a close, gather with new friends for one final morning of prayer, reflection, and celebration before returning home renewed in your identity as God's beloved daughter—clothed in His grace and ready to share His beauty with the world.

9.00 AM, Holy Mass (in English) at Santo Spirito in Sassia 

10.00 AM, "Giving Words to Wonder." Workshop at Vatican Design Studio (bring a notebook and pen). Discover how to recognize God's fingerprints throughout the weekend and communicate those experiences with joy.

12:00 PM, Pray the Angelus with the Holy Father in St. Peter's Square, where he will impart the Papal Blessing​ and bless holy objects

12:30 PM, Farewell Lunch (included). "Wearing the Jewels of Mission". Just as God adorned His people in Ezekiel, He now sends His daughters into the world as witnesses of His beauty, mercy, and love.

"I adorned you with ornaments, put bracelets on your wrists and a chain on your neck.” - Ezekiel 16:11 
Our theme celebrates the beauty and dignity with which God adorns every woman. Throughout the weekend, we'll reflect on the gifts He has placed within us and the unique ways He calls each of us to bring His love and beauty into the world.
