See Your Marriage with New Eyes

A Truth & Beauty Project Immersion

You'll never look at your marriage the same way again. Exploring Scripture, theology, sacred art, history, and the beauty of Rome through the lens of love, marriage, and the vocation to build Christian culture together.

This is not a marriage retreat. It's a Truth & Beauty Project signature Immersion, only for married and engaged couples. You'll return home with a richer understanding of God's call in your life and a renewed vision for living in the love of Christ.

Love with greater faith, joy, intentionality, and purpose.

November 7 - 14, 2026

The Journey

Rome becomes the classroom and beauty becomes the teacher. Every church, work of art, Scripture passage, and conversation becomes an invitation to see your vocation with new eyes.

Step away from the demands of everyday life and immerse yourselves in a week of faith, beauty, formation, and Christian community at the heart of the Church.

Our Immersions share Scripture, theology, philosophy, sacred art, Church history, and the unparalleled beauty of the Eternal City to encounter the riches of the Christian tradition in a deeply personal way. Each day invites you to grow in your understanding of your identity as beloved sons and daughters of God, while also discovering more fully the unique mission of your marriage within God's plan.

Along the way, you'll experience moments of prayer and wonder, and enjoy the unforgettable beauty, cuisine, and culture of Italy. You'll return home not only refreshed, but equipped with a clearer vision for intentional living, deeper faith, and the vocation you share together.

Sensing God's Call

Each day explores one of the five senses, revealing how God formed us to receive love, perceive beauty, and encounter Him through every dimension of our humanity. Together, the senses become a pathway to understanding marriage more deeply and living it more intentionally.

Rome is uniquely suited to teach us about love because beauty, sacrifice, covenant, and communion are woven into every church, street, and work of art. Throughout the week, the Eternal City becomes a living classroom where the beauty of married love is illuminated through Scripture, history, theology, sacred art, and the witness of the saints.

Like the many participants who have experienced a Truth & Beauty Project Immersion before you, you'll return home with a deeper understanding of your Christian identity, a renewed vision for your vocation, and practical tools to live your faith—with greater joy, purpose, and intentionality.

Touch — Love begins by receiving the other as gift

Standing beneath the splendor of St. Peter's Basilica, we'll discover that before we are called to love, we are first called to receive—God's love, His grace, and one another. Through Holy Mass, thoughtful conversations, and our welcome dinner, we'll explore the theology of gift and learn how receiving our spouse as God's gift transforms the way we love.

Nov 11

Sight — Seeing the world through God's eyes

Beauty transforms the way we see. Inspired by St. Paul's conversion and surrounded by the majesty of the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, we'll discover how God invites us to see one another with renewed wonder, gratitude, and hope. As our vision changes, so too does our understanding of our vocation, and the life God is calling us to build.

Nov 8

Hearing — Love listens

In a world filled with noise, love flourishes in attentive silence. As we walk through the heart of Rome, celebrate Holy Mass, and pray the Angelus with the Holy Father, we'll discover how listening—to God, to one another, and to the quiet movements of grace—becomes one of the greatest expressions of love.

Nov 12

Integrating the senses - Love that overflows into the world

A Christian marriage is never meant to be lived for itself alone. Through Holy Mass, sacred sites, and the creation of your own Marriage Mission Statement, you'll discover how your home can become a place of hospitality, evangelization, and joyful witness. Together we'll explore how your life can become an extraordinary instrument for building Christian culture.

Nov 9

Smell — The fragrance of holiness

As we journey through some of Rome's most beloved basilicas, celebrate Holy Mass, and reflect on the witness of Christian families throughout history, we'll discover how peace, hospitality, generosity, forgiveness, joy, and holiness become the enduring fragrance of Christ experienced by everyone we meet.

Nov 13

All the senses in harmony

As the week draws to a close, we'll bring together everything we've discovered about receiving, listening, seeing, speaking, and living with love. Through Holy Mass and our final reflections and visits, you'll celebrate the seven loves that form the foundation of a joyful Christian marriage, leaving Rome with renewed hearts, a shared vision, and practical inspiration for living your vocation with greater intentionality each day.

Nov 10

Taste — Words nourish love

The words we speak have the power to nourish, heal, and give life. Following the Public Papal Audience and Holy Mass, we'll explore sacred places in Rome and how truthful, encouraging, and grace-filled communication strengthens love, resolves conflict, and creates a home where love can flourish. Together we'll learn how every conversation can become an opportunity to build one another up in Christ.

Nov 14

Departure DayArrivederci, Roma!

The Immersion may be ending, but your journey is just beginning. Return home with renewed hearts, a deeper friendship, and a shared vision for building a marriage that radiates Christ's love in your family, parish, workplace, and community. May the beauty you've encountered in Rome continue to shape your lives together for years to come.
