Life in the Quarantine Zone: Our Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, announced yesterday that the complete shutdown of #Italy will be extended beyond April 3.
He told the newspaper Corriere della Sera, "We have avoided the collapse of the system, the restrictive measures are working, and it is obvious that when we reach a peak and the contagion will start to decrease, at least in percentage terms, we hope in a few days, [but] we will not be able to return immediately to life as before."
So now we wait to know more. Tragically, yesterday was the highest one-day death toll of any country when 475 died in Italy. Please pray for their Eternal Rest.
