- - Doctors throughout Italy were asked to volunteer to form a 300-person task force to help the over-taxed hospitals in the North. 7,923 doctors volunteered.
- - Nine planes arrived from Russia with military doctors and medical supplies. Russia's expected to also send 100 military specialists in virology and epidemics
- - 50 Roman taxi drivers initiated a grassroots effort offering free transportation for doctors caring for COVID-19 patients
